On April 13, 2023, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group) organised a conference to implement the business plan 2023 in the North-east under the chair of the Board of Management member, General Director Dao Hai Nam. The event took place at the Petrolimex Quang Ninh’s headquarters.
In attendance also included the Board of Management member, Deputy General Director Tran Ngoc Nam, representatives of the Supervisory Board, professional departments and leaders of Petrolimex member companies in the North-east, including: Petrolimex Quang Ninh, Petrolimex Hanoi, Petrolimex Hai Phong, Petrolimex Ha Nam Ninh, Petrolimex Ha Son Binh, Petrolimex Thai Binh and Petrolimex Ha Bac.
Despite difficulties and challenges in the implementation of business plans for 2023, the leadership and staff of Petrolimex member companies in the North-east have made all-out efforts to carry out production and business activities, which helps achieve positive outcomes: total volume of petroleum sold reached 27 per cent of the year’s plan, which was equal to 97 per cent of the same period in 2022; total volume of lubricants and gas sold reached 24 per cent of the year’s plan; gross earnings from insurance reached 27 per cent of the year’s plan; Consolidated revenue reached 32 per cent of the year’s plan;
On the occasion, representatives of the leadership of Petrolimex member companies in the North-east, the Board of Management and professional departments discussed shortcomings and difficulties existing in the implementation of business plans set for 2023, as well as put forward solutions to effectively direct and carry out duties set for the near future such as: Ensuring the source of petroleum; Business mechanisms and policies ensure flexibility, in line with the market ground to support member companies with the aim to maintain and develop the customer system; The establishment of prices for other products (gas, lubricants) to have proper support policies and bring about business efficiency; The development of petrol stations and identification of Petrolimex brand; The labour recruitment and labour protection; Internal management and production and business safety; and The implementation of the Group Restructuring Scheme in the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2035, among others.
Addressing the conference, General Director Dao Hai Nam acknowledged and highly spoke of achievements that the Petrolimex member companies in the North-east have made, which contributes to the general performance of the Group. The General Director asked the companies to concentrate on the significant activities as follows:
1) The member companies should stay active, proactive and determined to complete and exceed the production and business, and development investment targets for 2023 assigned by the Group leaders; and attach much importance to safety and security measures in fire prevention, environmental protection, financial security, especially in regards to legal issues. (2) Regarding development investment, the member companies must attach much significance to the development of the system of petrol stations; to actively and synchronously carrying out the identification of Petrolimex brand in line with the Group’s directions; and to improving service quality, particularly environment hygiene. (3) The member companies must strengthen internal management and seriously abide by legal provisions, and the Group’s regulations and guiding documents in order to mitigate risks in the implementation of production and business activities and to increase general efficiency (particularly warehouse management, debt management, goods payment, creation and issuance of VAT invoices and accumulation of PLX ID points, among others). (4)To implement the Group Restructuring Scheme for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2035, to carry out works in line with the instructions, regulations and roadmap set by the Group. (5) To concentrate on accelerating the technological application, automation and digital transformation in production and business processes. (6) To speed up the trading of other products (gas, lubricants, paints, and insurance). (7) To study and take measures to increase income for management staff, direct labourers and labourers at depots/terminals (if any) in accordance with the Group’s roadmap.
